Doha, 14/2/2012 - Vodafone Qatar has appointed Dana Haidan as Head of Corporate Social Responsibility. Prior to joining Vodafone, Dana was the Corporate Citizenship Officer at Qatargas for 3 years where she managed the company’s CSR programme and social investments.

In another step to be an environmentally friendly company, Vodafone Qatar has assembled a team of Green Ambassadors in its retail stores.

Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development has concluded a partnership contract with the Post-Graduate School of Commerce in Paris to establish a post-graduate college of commerce in Qatar, becoming the first French partner in the Education City.

Reach Out To Asia (ROTA) today announced the successful completion of a key project in Bangladesh. The project launched a capacity building program, which focused on "Disaster Preparedness and Food Needs for Disadvantaged Communities


Secretary General of Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) and its Board''s Deputy Chairman, Dr. Mohamed bin Ghanem al Ali al Mahdaadi, said that the Red Crescent is planning to send urgent relief and medical services to victims of the earthquake-stricken Haiti.
